God’s powerful work in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe - What a great harvest! Praise King Jesus!

A woman touched by my radio broadcast

I want to share a brief story from Bulawayo. Jimo (pictured) told me that during a mobile rally, a woman asked him to have the radio preacher meet her. She recognized me from a broadcast where I mentioned praying for my 19-year-old son, Daniel. My message moved her, and she wanted to pray with me. This shows how outreach through radio, social media, or street ministry can impact people in unexpected ways. BTW, I have Jimo’s story on video which is in the e-newsletter.

Statistics

I will share the statistics I received from the leadership of Global Network of Evangelists and Bulawayo. Every number represents a person:  Thank you for praying and serving with us in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. With your help, we completed the Bulawayo mission (which started in April 2024) and saw the Gospel proclaimed across schools, neighborhoods, businesses, prisons, and churches. “This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” (Ps. 118:23) Thank you for playing a vital role in this campaign.

In the final run-up we faced tribal tensions, a last-minute venue change, student ministry permissions pulled the day before, and prison access for foreign teammates withdrawn. By God’s grace—and the persistence of our Zimbabwe colleagues—we still ministered in two prisons (one with multiple sub-divisions).

Here are the final results we have collated, that include all training and proclamation phases and encompass the totality of the project from start to date.

Bulawayo results (training + outreach since April 2024)

  • In-person reach: 76,566

  • First-time salvations: 7,421

  • Recommitments: 1,809

  • Volunteers mobilized (incl. team): 1,100+

  • Believers trained: 4,562

  • Churches served: 964

  • Advance Groups: 1,038 launched. Continued follow-up in Bulawayo as decision makers are discipled.
